Children's Programming

WWPL is proud to offer a wide range of programming for children of all ages including regular programs such as story times, clubs and homeschool classes as well as one-time seasonal programs like the Polar Express Pajama Party and Super Hero Day. During summer we have a reading program complete with special guests like Amazon Jungle John and prizes for all levels of readers. A new schedule of programs is released every season.

Special Fall Programs

Littlest Pet Shop Day | Wednesday, September 17 @ 11 AM
Don't miss our first Littlest Pet Shop Play Day! We will be having a kitten relay race with the Library's LPS sets so no need to buy or bring your own. Please register at the Children's Desk though so we know how many of you will be joining us!

School Age Scene | Thursday, September 25 @ 4 PM
Misti, our newest Children's Librarian, is starting a new program for school-aged children (ages 6-12). Once a month she will be teaching you about a new and exciting subject.

In September she will be talking about Dutch-born painter, Piet Mondrian. He is know for painting vertical and horizontal black lines on white background with primary colors filling the resulting grid. Come and do some colorful modernist crafts with us!
