The Evergreen Library Consortium has an automated calling system that will contact you when you have a hold available for pickup (if you have elected to be contacted via phone). Email notices will continue as usual.
You can stop by the Circulation Desk to update your contact information but you must login to your online Evergreen account to update your contact preference (phone, email, text message, or any combination of the three above options).
Evergreen email notices are a courtesy and delivery is not guaranteed. Not receiving email notices will not result in waived fines. Due dates are printed on checkout receipts and available in your account in the online catalog. You may also call the during library hours and ask staff when your items are due or to renew them for you so that you do not incur fines.
Also, in order to always receive notices via email, you must log-in to My Account at least one time, and access the Account Preferences tab. From here, you can set a default notice method. If you have never set this preference, you must enter your email address with every hold you place. This includes holds placed by staff, on your behalf. Without this preference, the system will not look at the email "on file", only the one tied to a specific hold.
Did you know that Evergreen cards expire every two years? We joined the Evergreen system in October of 2009 which means a lot of cards are now expired. If you are having trouble logging into your account online, you may need to renew your card. We just need to verify that all of your information is correct, which you can do over the phone or next time you are here in person.
Evergreen IndianaThe Westfield Washington Public Library is pleased to announce its participation in Evergreen Indiana, a consortium of public libraries in Indiana. Founded in 2008 in conjunction with the Indiana State Library, Evergreen Indiana offers participating Evergreen libraries access to a shared catalog with libraries throughout Indiana.
What does joining Evergreen Indiana mean for WWPL patrons?
Westfield Washington Public Library patrons have access to materials at any
Evergreen Indiana Library;
a list with links to migrated libraries appears on the right-hand side of this
screen. (Please note that not all of the migrated libraries maintain a website.) You can check out items at those library branches or request certain materials via the catalog and they will be shipped here for you to pick up.
